3079 is a blocky action RPG that is based on a planet engaged in constant, unending war ... a war that you have been sent to stop.
In the game, the player can perform many actions, such as buying and upgrading weapons and armor, exploring further, fighting endless permutations of enemies alone or alongside allied creatures, along with a bit of mining, building and randomly dying countless times for no reason. Addtionally, this game is highly prone to crashing with no warning or trend. Random terrain provides a new experience every time, the terrain generator also creates buildings, including friendly and enemy bases, as well as vendors, and fortifications. Many times, the terrain will be completely impassable, and you may find your self without a gravity pack or a grappling hook, you are then screwed. The further you explore, the higher the difficulty... but with the higher difficulty comes great rewards. These rewards often include less vendors, increased enemy awarness, more demons, more captial ships, increased terrain generation errors, and potentially the demon king.
